Sytox staining, and therefore appear cyan, while non-neuronal nuclei are green. Two
of the neurons (arrowheads) are immunoreactive for galanin. This appears in a ring
surrounding the nucleus, corresponding to the perikaryal cytoplasm. Scale bar = 20
μm.
